参加要項ガイドライン

プロ、アマ問わず、誰でも参加できます。ラーメンには一言・こだわりを持つ方々のご自慢の作品を、統一の値段（＄4）で統一の器（20oz）で、独自の味とスタイルで競い、NYラーメンの認定を目指します。

日程：
ミッドタウン大会：5月20日(日）PARK　AVE　39&40th　Streetの間、ジャパンブロックフェアー内
クイーンズ大会：　7月29日(日）ASTORIAのBROADWAY　43rd＆44th　streetの間、
ジャパンブロックフェア内（開催時が真夏なので、スペシャルとして、冷たいラーメン特集となるかも）
アッパーウエスト大会：10月14日(日）BROADWAY　93rd＆94th　streetの間、ジャパンブロックフェアー内
2012年決勝大会：　日時場所は未定（室内会場）　

審査方法：ラーメンを食べたお客さんの投票で選ぶ方式。

募集要項：5月20日(日）のミッドタウン大会の出場者募集について
1. 場所：PARK Aveの39th&40th streetの間のジャパンブロックフェアーのテント内
2. 基本出場料：150ドル（テント、テーブル1つ、イス1付、器、箸込み）
(別途追加費用：ラーメンの麺50ドル、大鍋15ドル、ガス台20ドル、　プロパンガス40ドル、カセットコンロ10ドル、
ガスボンベ2ドル)
3. 先着10団体。　　　
4. スペース：間口1.5メートル＆奥行き3メートルのスペース。
5. 賞金
優勝者:
＊賞金1,000ドル。
＊ NYラーメン委員会からの認定書と優勝トロフィー。　　　　　　　　
＊日系コミュニティー誌に優勝インタビュー記事掲載。
＊決勝大会への出場権と参加費免除。
準優勝者：
＊賞金800ドル。
＊ NYラーメン委員会からの認定書。
＊決勝大会への出場権と参加費免除。
3位−10位
＊賞金500ドル。
6. NYCへの許可など：
食品取扱の衛生局許可、ストリートフェアーでの販売許可、傷害保険やLIABILITY保険の加入などは主催者が行います。

Thank you for your interest in the New York Street Ramen Contest.
The Preliminary Rounds for the contest will be held on May 20th, 2012, in New York City.
There will be three preliminary rounds and one final round to determine the grand winner will be held in Winter 2012.

Preliminary Rounds
Date and Time:
May 20th, 2012 from 1AM to 4PM (winners will be announced at 430PM)　
Address:
Park Avenue btw 39th & 40th street West Side

Participation:
*First 10 applicants who sign up
*Fee: $150 (You will receive space of 5 feet wide / 10 feet depth and Tent and one 6 foot long table, one chair, 500 of 12oz bowls, 500 pairs of chopsticks.)

Extra Fees (optional):
Ramen noodles (can choose from Yama-chan Ramen) -- $50
Large Bowl -- $15
Gas Stove -- $ 20
Propane Gas -- $40
Portable Gas Stove -- $10
Gas can for Portable -- $2 / can

Requirements:
*You will serve your Ramen noodles to customers who will have purchased a ticket at $4 per bowl. (Note: All ticket Sales belong to event organizer.)
* Please serve your Ramen in the bowls that are provided ONLY (20oz bowls).
* Please prepare to serve at least 300 people to maximum as 500 people. (Target to serve at least 200ml of soup per person, therefore 50L in total, 17 gallons.)

Prize:
First place winner will receive $1,000, a certificate of acknowledgement and trophy from the NY Ramen Committee, an interview/article in the "Nikkei Community" magazine, and a ticket to enter the Grand Finale round.

Second place winner will receive $800, a certificate of acknowledgement from the NY Ramen Committee, and a ticket to enter the Grand Finale round.

Third to Tenth place winner will receive $500.

Notes:
*Winners will be determined by the customers. (Customers will vote by placing their chopsticks with the Ramen noodle of their choice.)

*Please provide Food Protection Certificate for all the ingredients you will use. Please let us know in advance if you are not an owner of this certificate. The host of this event will determine all foods that will be served during this event.

*Insurance and Liability for this event will be covered by EMEMT INC, the host of Japan Block Fair.

Future Schedule:
